I stand in your Spotlight<\/p>\n

Arms raised high above my head<\/p>\n

I’m careful not to step outside the circle<\/p>\n

For a while<\/p>\n

But then I do<\/u><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dancing in and out<\/p>\n

Of the circle of light<\/p>\n

Careful not to break the flow<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But then I do<\/u><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The lightness is ripped into pieces<\/p>\n

I collapse<\/p>\n

Half inside, half out<\/p>\n

Of the circle<\/p>\n

Of the spotlight<\/p>\n

Unsure of my next step<\/p>\n

I curl up<\/p>\n

Turn my back to you<\/p>\n

In protection<\/p>\n

Feeling so vulnerable<\/p>\n
